Fotoflo exists because its founder got tired of spending evenings delivering photos people had already stopped waiting for.
At Slush, I ran a headshot photobooth for two days straight. Just me, one camera, and Fotoflo. 300 portraits, and zero evenings spent on delivery.
Why it exists
Delivering photos is the part of the job nobody books you for. You shoot an event, and then you spend the evenings afterwards exporting, renaming, uploading and emailing — work that is invisible to the client and unpaid for you. By the time the photos arrive, the moment has passed.
Fotoflo moves that work into the three minutes the person is already sitting in front of you. You export as you normally would; the photo reaches their phone before they stand up. No gallery to build, no addresses to type, no evening to lose.
What it deliberately is not
Fotoflo is not a proofing platform, an album builder, a print store or a long-term client archive. Those are good products and several companies make them well. Fotoflo does one thing: it gets a finished photo from your export folder onto someone's phone, fast.
