Terms of Service

1. Description of the service

Fotoflo is a photo-delivery platform for photographers. The Fotoflo desktop app watches a folder on your computer and uploads the photos you export into it to a project. Fotoflo then generates QR codes and PIN codes so the people you photographed ("viewers") can open a client gallery page and view or download their photos. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms as the photographer and account holder.

2. Payments and refunds

Fotoflo is pay-per-project, not a subscription (see Pricing). Each account gets one free Trial project (up to 20 photos, open for 7 days, downloads watermarked and limited to 1200 pixels, no card required). Beyond that you buy credits in packs — a Single project (€8, unlimited photos at full resolution, open for 20 days) or a 5-project pack (€30, €6 per project) — and one credit is spent only when you start or upgrade a project, not when you upload photos to your account. A Trial project can be upgraded to a full project at any time for one credit, without re-uploading. Credits do not expire. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Because starting a project immediately opens its 20-day delivery window, we do not offer refunds for credits that have already been spent on a project. Unspent credits are refundable: contact hello@fotoflo.co and we'll refund them to the original payment method. Credits granted through referrals or gift codes are promotional, have no cash value, and are non-transferable.

3. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Buying a credit does not itself deliver anything — the credit simply sits in your account until you choose to use it.

Because of that, we go further than the law requires: unspent credits are refundable at any time, with no 14-day deadline. Write to hello@fotoflo.co and we'll refund them to the original payment method.

Starting a project is the point at which we begin providing the service to you: the 20-day delivery window opens, your gallery goes live, and viewers can access their photos. You agree to this when you buy, by confirming that your right of withdrawal for a project ends once that project starts. Credits already spent on a started project are therefore not refundable — but any credits you have not yet spent still are.

4. Project validity

Each project stays active for 20 days after it starts. Viewers download their photos during that window; after it closes, the project is locked and no longer accessible to you or to viewers. Photos a viewer already downloaded remain theirs. We don't guarantee extensions to the 20-day window.

5. Acceptable use

You're responsible for the photos you upload. You may not use Fotoflo to upload or deliver unlawful, infringing, or non-consensually obtained images, or to harass the people you photograph. If you use the optional contact-collection form, you're responsible for handling the contact details you collect in line with our Privacy Policy.

6. Content ownership

You keep ownership of every photo you upload. By uploading photos, you grant Fotoflo a limited license to host, process, and deliver them solely to operate the service for you. Fotoflo does not claim ownership over any content you upload or deliver.

7. Limitation of liability

Fotoflo is provided "as is." We're a delivery tool — we're not responsible for the content you upload, for photos lost due to circumstances outside our control, or for how your clients or the people you photograph use downloaded files or any contact details collected through the service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid Fotoflo in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Account and termination

You may stop using Fotoflo and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates section 5 (Acceptable use). Closing your account doesn't automatically forfeit unused paid credits — see section 2 for how to request a refund.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and any disputes arising from them are subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts. Fotoflo is operated by Ventured Oy (business ID 2654364-4), Erkinkuja 11, 04420 Järvenpää, Finland.
